We require 48 hours notice if you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment in order to give us enough time to fill the spot. If you miss your appointment without contacting us, we will charge 100% of the service amount to your card on file. If we are unable to charge your card on file, you will be required to pay the balance in full, prior to booking any future appointments. All prices are starting prices.
We base our pricing on many factors including the experience of your stylist,
the time required to perform your service, the amount of product used to achieve your hair goals
and the length, integrity and current condition of your hair.

Consultation: $40 (goes towards your service if you decide to book with us)
Cut + Shape
Haircut: $90+
Short, clipper, buzz or fade haircut: $50+
Bang, Fringe or Face-frame trim on clean/dry hair: $45+
Style + Glam
Blowout: $55+
Up-do: $150+
Tape-In or Hand-Tied/Weft Extensions: consultation required. We are certified in Hairtalk extensions.
Color + Dimension
We prefer that our guests arrive with clean, dry hair if you’re receiving any chemical or color service.
Single Process/root touch-up: $120+
Platinum touchup: $300+ (New platinum clients: consultation required)
Face-frame foil: $175+
Partial Foil: $255+
Full-head foil: $350+

REWIND Treatment: An anti-aging, anti-breakage, smoothing and hydrating pick-me-up. (Lasts up to 10 shampoos): $100
Hydrating or Moisturizing Conditioning Treatment (Lasts up to 4 shampoos): $75+
Damage Control Treatment (Lasts up to 4 shampoos): $75+
Wellaplex Treatment: A bond-building treatment that is great for hair prone to breakage. (Lasts up to 8 weeks): $75+
Scalp remedy treatment using Cult + King Tonik or essential oil: (This service includes a 5 minute head massage that stimulates the scalp and promotes healthier scalp/hair) $75+

Salon Policies and Cancellation Policies
All appointments require a credit card to reserve. Forms of payment accepted are: Card or Cash. Some services may require a deposit to reserve the appointment.
We prefer gratuity in the form of cash or Venmo.

If you need to cancel or reschedule, calling us directly is the best form of communication. If you send an email, we can not guarantee that we will be able to cancel or reschedule your appointment within the 48 hour policy. We can not cancel, reschedule, or alter any appointments through social media messages.
Our cancellation policy applies to all regardless of the reason for cancelling. Our no-show policy applies to all regardless of the reason for cancelling.
If you’re feeling ill or sick in any way, PLEASE do not enter our salon. We will do our best to accommodate you at a later time.
Our cancellation and no-show policy applies to every instance even if you’re cancelling due to illness.
All stylists at La La Luxe do not offer refunds on services. We are happy to address anything that is not satisfactory but you must call within 7 days of the original service. All services performed after 7 days from your visit will be subject to regular charges.
Any product purchased in our salon can be exchanged or a store credit can be offered within 14 days of purchase. After that, we can not accept any product returns.
Hair extensions are final sale and can not be returned or exchanged.
Gift certificates are non-refundable.
If receiving a color correction, you may have multiple corrective sessions in order to achieve a beautiful and healthy result. You will be charged accordingly for each visit/session during the corrective process. Your stylist will explain all of this to you during your consultation prior to the service.
La La Luxe is not responsible for any damage to your clothing left on under the styling/color gown/cape, so please dress accordingly. We have belted gowns to wear to protect your clothing under the cape. We are not responsible for any lost or stolen items while at our salon.
La La Luxe is not responsible for damage to your hair due to undisclosed information regarding any history of hair coloring, bleaching, swimming in chlorine, well-water, product usage, past home-coloring, box-coloring, chemical treatments and any other treatments. It is extremely important that you relay all information and history of any services within the past 2 years, any products you are currently using and what type of water your hair is exposed to.
We are a judgement-free salon and we pride ourselves on the safe, calm and relaxing vibe in both locations. Please leave political conversations, judgements and negative vibes at the door.

Every stylist at La La Luxe has undergone extensive training, classes, and education regardless of their years of experience. Owner, Leah classifies each stylist based on the number of years in the industry, the level of skill they have in addition to their level of creativity and natural artistic talent. The industry experience of every stylist at La La Luxe ranges from 1 year to 25 years. Every stylist, regardless of experience, is continually trained and guided by Owner, Leah. Stylists at La La Luxe are required to continue their education in and out of the salon in order to maintain their skill and technique and to keep up with modern trends and innovations.
JUNIOR STYLIST: 0-2 years in the industry
STYLIST: 2-6 years in the industry

Owner Leah Carlson has been creating one-of-a-kind haircuts, styles, and custom color for 25 years. Leah brings her artistry, technical skill, and a warm approach to each appointment, helping guests embrace beautiful, low-maintenance looks that feel true to them.
Leah’s passion for beauty started early, leading her to graduate from Arthur Angelo School of Cosmetology and CCRI with a degree in Fine Arts. Her career has been shaped by advanced training, including mastering her craft at Vidal Sassoon Academy, learning razor cutting and custom color techniques with Nick Arrojo, and honing her styling skills with celebrity stylist Oribe. Leah’s expertise lies in creating shape, depth, and movement that enhance natural features.
Dedicated to growth and innovation, Leah recently completed a color and business course in NYC. Committed to giving back, she mentors her team with monthly education sessions, fostering a supportive and inspiring environment at La La Luxe. Her dream is to create a program to mentor emerging stylists.
Her specialties include straight-razor cutting, precision cutting, curly and wavy texture, short and pixie cuts, dimensional color, corrective color, platinum blondes, extensions, and grey transitioning, allowing guests to embrace natural beauty in a way that suits their lifestyle. Guests from neighboring states seek out Leah for her expertise in grey transitioning, establishing her as one of New England’s top stylists in this specialty. In addition to her skill in hair, Leah has a deep passion and extensive experience in makeup, bringing over 25 years of classic, modern and innovative makeup artistry to her guests.

Casey specializes in balayage, dimensional brunettes, vibrant auburns and coppers, radiant reds, natural-looking highlights, and high-impact blonde shades, from lived-in blondes to luminous platinum. She’s a corrective color expert and is also certified in Hairtalk tape-in extensions, adding versatility to her skill set.
With advanced certifications from top brands like Wella, Goldwell, Davines, and Pravana, Casey has mastered a range of color techniques and is especially skilled in creating stunning, long-lasting styles and blowouts. Sara’s love for hair began as a child when she discovered one of her mom’s braiding books. “I remember spending hours teaching myself how to braid on my dolls. In high school, I was always the go-to stylist, making sure all my friends had perfect hair for every dance.”
With over four years in the industry, Sara has developed a strong reputation for her expertise in dry haircutting, transformative color, red and copper shades, and natural-looking blondes and brunettes. She’s skilled in lived-in color and highlights, blonde balayage, dimensional brunettes, precision cuts, color correction, and grey-blending. Her specialties also include bridal and special occasion hairstyling, where she creates looks that are timeless and elegant.
Recently relocating to Rhode Island from Spokane, WA, Sara brings a fresh perspective to La La Luxe Salon. Known for her artistic eye and warm, welcoming personality, Sara has a unique talent for creating effortlessly beautiful, low-maintenance styles that last.
